The recent grand opening at the Flying J in Lebec, CA marks the completion of the West Coast Shorepower corridor. Truck drivers can now drive the entire length of U.S. Interstate 5 between Seattle and San Diego and parallel State Route 99 in California and get restful sleep without idling the truck engine, running down batteries or firing up an APU.
To plug in at any of our sites, you only need an extension cord and any appliance (for example, a portable a/c) or plug-in receptacle (e.g. shore power inlet). During our introductory promotion, the power is currently free at many locations.^ There has never been a better time to start saving fuel and maintenance by plugging in.
