Help include Truck Stop Electrification in VW Settlement

Volkswagen (VW) has reached a settlement agreement with the US Department of Justice (DOJ) for software that cheated the emission standards on their 2.0 liter diesel engines. The settlement is expected to cost VW up to $14.7 billion. The deal includes $2.7 billion for environmental mitigation, another $2 billion for clean-emissions infrastructure and $10 billion to buyback or fix the affected vehicles. The proposed mitigation actions do not include electrified parking spaces (EPS) or truck stop electrification (TSE), even though they are the most cost effective technology to reduce diesel emissions. Read more here or submit a response to the US DOJ letting them know you think EPS/TSE should be included on the approved mitigation action list with this form letter.
