Grant Funding Available for Plug-Ins

Notice: A large agency is providing up to 100% grant funding for installing electric standby for trucks that saves diesel and emissions while parked (vs. idling). This funded infrastructure (Electrified Parking Spaces) can be installed at private truck terminals for cab power, battery charging, block heaters, and hybrid APUs.

Your facility may qualify if:

• You have terminals (truck parking lots) in Southeastern states where drivers park and stay for any length of time; e.g. maintenance facilities, depots, staging areas, headquarters
• You are interested in installing electric receptacles at these locations at little or no cost
