Shorepower – Plug In and Save

Europe Electrifies Ports with Shore Power

Our name “Shorepower” literally comes from the description of power provided to ships from the shore – one of the earliest forms of transportation electrification and one that parallels the trucking industry. The cruise industry and the ports that serve them are now expanding infrastructure to allow these massive floating cities to take advantage of grid power, as opposed to running their diesel engines while in port. The same principles hold true for the trucking industry and our Truck Stop Electrification service.

“The supply from land is more environmentally friendly.”

“Off shore power is a trend that many companies will eventually follow.”
