The Portland Business Journal reports that Portland General Electric, the local utility company, unveiled the first of a dozen (Shorepower) charging stations in preparation for the 
coming electric vehicles. “Using wind energy supplied by PGE, a handful of local businesses including several Burgerville locations, the Columbia Sportswear outlet in Sellwood, Nike and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry will play host to the 12 charging stations.”
